Amana DD01E Commercial Wireless RF Door Switch Sensor | Magnetic Contact Sensor for Amana Eden Energy Management Systems & PTAC Climate Setback Controls

The Amana DD01E Wireless Door Switch Sensor is an essential commercial energy-saving component engineered for hotel guest rooms, balcony suites, multi-family apartments, and senior living facilities. Working in direct synchronization with Amana Eden Energy Management Systems (EMS) and RF-enabled PTAC thermostats (such as the DS01G or DSA02NO), the DD01E detects when entry doors, patio sliders, or balcony doors are opened or closed.

By transmitting immediate Radio Frequency (RF) signals to the PTAC controller when an exterior door remains open, the system automatically initiates climate setback routines or temporarily pauses HVAC compressor operation—preventing thousands of dollars in wasted energy from cooling or heating the outdoors.

System Compatibility: Communicates wirelessly via 2.4 GHz RF protocol to Amana J-Series and K-Series PTAC mainboards (equipped with native RF or GT01H/DT01G antennas) and Amana Eden motion thermostats. Powered by a long-life lithium coin cell battery (included).
