This Shipping, Freight & Delivery Policy details shipping procedures, delivery protocols, freight receipt requirements, and title transfer rules for orders placed with Lush Global Contracting via www.lushglobalcontracting.com or direct commercial sales channels.
1. Order Processing & Staging Times
- Processing Time: Standard in-stock orders typically require 1 to 3 business days to process, verify credit/payment, pull from warehouses, and palletize for dispatch.
- Special-Order / High-Volume Lots: Lead times for custom fabrication, factory-direct shipments, or large commercial lots vary based on manufacturing schedules and will be indicated on your formal quote or order confirmation.
- Operating Days: Orders are processed Monday through Friday, excluding standard federal holidays.
2. Shipping Methods & Geographical Scope
- Parcel Shipments: Small items and accessories ship via standard national couriers (USPS, UPS, or FedEx).
- LTL and Flatbed Commercial Freight: Bulk products, commercial flooring, architectural items, and crated materials are shipped via Less-Than-Truckload (LTL) or dedicated freight carriers.
- Geographic Scope: We ship across the contiguous United States. Deliveries to Alaska, Hawaii, US territories, or remote commercial job sites require custom freight quotes and may incur extended transit timelines and logistics surcharges.
3. Commercial Delivery Terms (F.O.B. Origin)
All commercial shipments are made F.O.B. Origin / Shipping Point. The risk of transit loss, weather damage, and transit delay transfers to the Buyer the moment the shipment leaves our facility or is accepted by the carrier.
Lush Global Contracting is not responsible for transit carrier delays due to road closures, severe weather, regional terminal backlogs, or labor disputes. Delivery estimates are non-binding targets.
4. Job Site Delivery, Liftgates & Offloading Responsibilities
Commercial freight deliveries operate under specific receiving rules:
- Curbside / Dock Delivery Only: Standard LTL freight delivery is strictly curbside or dock-to-dock. Carriers will not transport goods inside facilities, up stairs, or onto staging platforms.
- Liftgate Service: Standard freight does not include liftgate service. If your job site or commercial facility lacks a loading dock or forklift, you must request and pay for Liftgate Service at the time of order placement.
- Buyer Offloading Responsibility: The Buyer is solely responsible for having adequate personnel and machinery (e.g., forklift, pallet jack) available at the scheduled delivery window to unload pallets safely and promptly.
- Redelivery & Detention Fees: Carriers provide a limited unloading window (typically 15 to 30 minutes). If a carrier cannot complete delivery due to lack of receiving personnel, locked gates, impassable roads, or missed appointments, the Buyer is solely responsible for all associated redelivery fees, storage surcharges, and carrier detention penalties.
5. Mandatory Freight Inspection & Reporting Protocol
IMPORTANT: Do not sign delivery receipts without thorough inspection.
- Inspect Pallets/Crates Before Signing: Before the driver departs, inspect exterior packaging, shrink-wrap, banding, and pallets.
- Document Damage on the Bill of Lading (BOL): Any visible damage, punctured cartons, crushed crates, or broken pallets MUST BE EXPLICITLY WRITTEN on the driver’s delivery receipt or Bill of Lading (BOL) (e.g., “Box 2 of 4 crushed, pallet shrink wrap torn, hardware missing”).
- Severe Damage Refusal: If a pallet or crate is visibly destroyed or heavily damaged, note the damage on the BOL and refuse that specific damaged portion of the shipment.
- Concealed Damage Window (Strict 48 Hours): If damage is discovered after uncrating, written notification with clear photographs of packaging and damaged items must be sent to help@lushglobalcontracting.com within forty-eight (48) hours of delivery.
- Waiver of Claims: Failure to note visible damage on the BOL or failure to notify Lush Global Contracting within 48 hours constitutes unconditional acceptance of the goods as complete and undamaged, forfeiting all carrier insurance and replacement claims.
6. Address Corrections & Rerouting
Once an order has left the warehouse dock, it cannot be rerouted or stopped. If a destination address must be updated while in transit, the carrier will assess reconsignment fees, which must be approved and prepaid by the Buyer before the carrier attempts delivery to the alternate location.
7. Lost or Stolen Shipments
If tracking confirms delivery to the destination address, but the shipment cannot be located:
- Notify help@lushglobalcontracting.com within 48 hours.
- Check job site receiving logs, neighboring docks, and security camera footage.
- Lush Global Contracting will open a formal carrier tracer investigation. We are not liable for packages stolen, misplaced, or damaged after verified delivery by the carrier.
